One of the worst feelings in investing is FOMO — fear of missing out.
You know it when it happens.
You think, “Hey, I should buy some of this. It should do well in the next few days, weeks or months.”
Then, without noticing, time passes.
You never bought it — whatever it was.
And then, you see a chart like this:
Fortunately, FOMO can be forgotten when something even bigger comes around.
In just the past 365 days, Bitcoin (BTC) is up 154%, and it has crushed its previous all-time highs.
But even with this staggering growth, Bitcoin is among the LEAST exciting opportunities in the crypto markets right now.
The fact is, Bitcoin has already enjoyed massive growth and already has about $1.4 trillion in market cap right now.
The bigger an asset is, the harder it is to grow dramatically bigger.
So, realistically, the most gains you could see from Bitcoin in this cycle is 2x, or maybe even 3x.
While that’s an excellent return, it’s not life-changing.
And it’s certainly not the runaway gains a crypto bull market is famous for.
The good news is that altcoin season is still ahead of us. That’s when Bitcoin takes a back seat and lets the rest of the market lead the way.
And it’s in altcoin season where you can find those truly incredible growth opportunities.
Especially on smaller, overlooked coins that I’ve been calling “new crypto wonders.”
All while risking far less capital upfront.
That’s because altcoin season is when newer, relatively unknown coins suddenly take off like a rocket and leave Bitcoin in the dust.
How can I be so sure?
Because we’ve seen this all before.
During a prior bull market, there were 96 examples of small-cap cryptos that rose at LEAST 10,000%.
That means 96 of these new crypto wonders gave investors the chance to make a minimum of 100 times their money …
Enough to turn a $10,000 grubstake into a bare-bones minimum of $1 million.
I mean, we haven’t even hit altcoin season yet, and a few of the new crypto wonders I’ve been looking at have posted gains of 115% ... 237% ... even 310% in just the past four months!
